Everyday I seem to be surprise by the current situation. USA the bigger economic power is running out of steam. The reasons are simple, big army, and political boredom.
The worries are not just what happen in the USA, the problems is all the west is drawn into this madness.
I'm sixty now, and since I can remember USA, Britain, France, USSR now (Russia), had a permanent war going.
If for a moment we would forget the ethical aspects of if all, death, human misery, tragedy and waste. Lets for a moment pretend that those things never existed in war, where are the material benefits? I can not find them anywhere, except in some arms factory.
There are not any material benefits really, in peace time we all benefit that is clear, but in war who benefit?, so few if any.
So why the USA keep this path of constant wars, is like a person that is addicted to drugs and can not stop? Always if some excuse to justify a good war. Or is like a person that like fighting as a hobby, boxer? I see this collective desire to keep wars going, a very bad habit. Why they do not stay at home and enjoy life? One popular screem is; they do it for the oil! I can not agree with that, is too simple. For the money? What money? The billion, after billion they loose every week?
I would understand if the Mexicans or Canadians invaded the USA, or the Afghans invaded the United Kingdom. Them there is a real reason for fighting back.
I would like if an anybody from those war loving countries can explain it to me? I thank you very much in advance.
